I am who I am. I like what I like. I believe what I believe. I cannot put that aside for anyone. No matter how many times they may ask, beg. or plead. And I shouldn’t have to. 

 I don’t give a shit if you find the things I do irrelevant, my beliefs wrong, my appearance offensive, or my choices and actions absurd.  These are the things that make me who I am and if you disagree to an extent where it makes you unhappy to be around me, you obviously don’t need to be around me. 

Every single person is different. You can’t expect someone to believe in something just because you believe in it.  You can’t expect someone to have the same problems you have and be able to fix them how you fixed yours. You can’t expect someone to hide themselves because they don’t look like how you want them to look. You can’t expect someone to put on weight because you think they’re too skinny. You can’t expect someone to lose weight because you think they’re too fat. You can’t expect someone to do the things you want them to just because you want them to. You can’t expect someone just to overcome their fears or anxiety just because you think they should be able to. You can’t expect someone to make better choices just because you think they should. People are people. We are not meant to be perfect in everyone’s eyes but we are perfect in the eyes of the people that matter.
